LookinGlass is operated by Fresnaye & Company LLC ("Fresnaye", "we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the LookinGlass iOS and Android applications and the web application at lookinglass.ch (together, "the Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These terms sit alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what the Service collects and who can see it.
Accounts are provisioned by the organization that holds the LookinGlass subscription, and access is granted and withdrawn by that organization's administrators. You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials and devices secure; tell us promptly at support@fresnaye.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
Do not use the Service to break the law, to infringe someone else's rights, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, to interfere with the Service's operation, or to generate material that is unlawful or that harasses or endangers others. Do not attempt to extract, resell, or build a competing service from the model outputs, and do not submit content you have no right to share.
The Service routes your messages to third-party AI models and returns what they produce. Model output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or confidently wrong, and it can differ between models — showing you that disagreement is part of what the Service is for. Output is not legal, financial, medical, tax, or other professional advice, and must be verified before you rely on it. You remain responsible for any decision you take on the basis of it.
You keep ownership of what you put into the Service — your messages, documents, images, memories, and projects. You grant Fresnaye the limited licence needed to operate the Service: to store that content, to transmit it to the AI provider you have selected for a given turn, and to display it back to you. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it. Fresnaye retains ownership of the Service itself, including its software, interface, and branding.
The Service depends on third-party AI providers and other processors, listed in the Privacy Policy. Their handling of content transmitted to them is governed by their own terms. Providers may change as the Service evolves.
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not offer an uptime guarantee or service-level commitment. Features may change, and the Service or any part of it may be suspended for maintenance, or withdrawn. Third-party provider outages are outside our control.
Your organization's administrators may suspend or remove your access at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where required by law, or where continued use would put the Service or other users at risk. On termination your right to use the Service ends; the Privacy Policy governs what happens to your data, and account deletion and export remain available as described there.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fresnaye is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service — including any reliance on AI output. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes belong to the courts of the District of Columbia.
